Non-infectious uveitis (NIU) is an inflammatory eye condition with symptoms such as changes in vision, floaters, pain, redness, and swelling. NIU can significantly impact a person’s quality of life and may eventually lead to serious vision loss. Researchers continue to explore NIU and possible treatments for these individuals.

The NEPTUNE Study is evaluating a drug for adults with NIU. Pharmaceutical companies use clinical research studies like this one to learn more about study drugs before they are made available to the public. Study volunteers help us in this important research. Thank you for considering participation in this study.

The NEPTUNE Study is investigating a study drug called brepocitinib to find out if it has the potential to be safe and effective in decreasing and controlling inflammation in adults with NIU.

Brepocitinib is considered a study drug because it is not yet approved by any health regulatory agency (like the US Food and Drug Administration [FDA]) for use by the general public.
